Meet Kathryn ‘Kit’
Why did you become a funeral arranger?
I come from a retail background although I joined the funeral industry because I wanted to help people and wanted the opportunity to help give people proper final goodbyes.
What do you like about being a funeral arranger?
I like helping people when they don’t know how to move forward and giving them the opportunity to have a cathartic experience from a funeral.
It helps that I’m surrounded by my wonderful colleagues who always strive to make every family feel comfortable and heard.
What’s one thing people don’t know about you?
I love to sing! Sometimes when I’m alone locking up the branch at the end of the day, I’ll go around the building singing, and I always go to the front desk area as that’s the part of the building with the best acoustics.
