Following the ceremony, your loved one can be buried or cremated at Karrakatta Cemetery, Pinnaroo Valley Memorial Park or the Fremantle Cemetery. All three are conveniently located a short drive away from our funeral home.

 

Facilities at our Subiaco Funeral Home

Our funeral home has:

  • Our spacious onsite chapel that can accommodate 65 seated guests and has standing room for 20 additional guests if we open the concertina doors
  • A refreshment area where friends and family can gather after the service for snacks
  • 2 arrangement rooms which provides you and your family with both privacy and comfort when meeting with your funeral director
  • Viewing room where friends and family can bid final goodbye to loved one. Our chapel can also be used as a viewing room
  • Funeral webcasting is available at our funeral home where the funeral service is live streamed and recorded for family members and friends to be part of the service if they are unable to attend in person
  • The latest audio-visual equipment so you can play music and show photos or videos that celebrate your loved one during the service

Our funeral home is accessible for visitors in wheelchairs and with other mobility aids. Our funeral home offers 22 onsite parking spaces to our guests in addition to plenty of parking available on surrounding streets. We also have 2 paid parking stations within walking distance of the funeral home.

What do you enjoy about your job?
I enjoy guiding families through a difficult time. In addition I enjoy nurturing and training staff members.

How long have you been location manager?
I have been in the funeral industry since 2006 and have served as a location manager at the Subiaco funeral home since 2013.

What do you enjoy in your spare time?
I am a marriage celebrant so that role gives me joy. I also have a granddaughter who keeps me busy and I love long walks in the bush and by the ocean. I enjoy my garden and I love to cook.

What do you love about the community your funeral home is in?
Great café’s, mixed community members, old character homes and nice shops.

Are there any special community relationships, groups, associations or charities you work with or support?
Subiaco Community Centre
I am about to volunteer with the new Perth Museum, so I am looking forward to that
